Parade
It’s that time of year again. Time to plan your entry into the El Paso Corn Festival Parade. We are keeping the start time at 11am again this year.
Our theme is "Celebrate Life" As always there is no entry fee and we offer cash prizes!! This is a lot of fun and good advertising for you and your company or community group. Please help us out by filling out the entry form and returning it no later than August 28, 2009. We will be assigning positions in the line-up as the entries are received, so send this in as soon as possible to reserve your position in the parade! If you choose not to sign up in advance, your entry will be put at the end of the parade line-up.
Don’t forget that the parade will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 12, 2009. Line-up will begin at El Paso Centennial School at 9:00am. If you are not in line by 10:15am, you will NOT be eligible for prizes or be announced. And please remember that not everyone can be at the front of the line. Every year we have requests to be "moved up" to accommodate another activity but there is no way we can do this for everyone.
